This antique Italian ceramic water jug is decorated in classic blue and white with the label "Aqua Vitæ" on the front in black. The Latin "Aqua Vitæ" translates to "Water of Life" and refers to distilled ethanol or alcoholic spirits such as wine. The jug is decorated on all sides, and includes some three-dimensional accents on the sides. 

Jug measures 11.5"h x 8.5"W x 6"D. There is one crack on the bottom edge (shown), but otherwise light surface wear is present. See images for full details.
